I can't seem to turn off closed caption. I'm using the Roku 3 to access the VUDU app.
I have checked the settings on the Roku and the closed caption is turned off so that's not the problem. I checked the tools section under the VUDU app and I can see closed caption but there's no option to turn it off.

I've also checked the pause bar at the bottom where others have suggested there's an option to turn it off but I've found nothing!! I'm not having this problem on any of the other apps. Am I missing something? Re: Closed CaptionOk, just want to make sure you are looking in the right place for the option to turn off CC.
While watching the movie press the down arrow to move your control to the bottom bar. Directly to the right of the pause is the which is fast forward. Directly to the right of that is the CC button. If you do not have CC turned on then it will be the letters cc inside a word balloon. If you do have CC turned on then it will be an abbreviation of the CC language inside a word balloon. For example eng for english. If it says cc inside the balloon but you are still seeing the close captioning, or if there is no CC balloon then power cycling is probably the only thing you can try.
